FOOD DELIVERY PROGRAM

To provide a support system for vulnerable Black seniors and youth experiencing difficulty in areas of homelessness and challenges to meet end means.

This program focuses on providing essential nutritional food to Black seniors and youths through our membership and community contributions. Through our volunteer’s networks, this program also allows us to provide information sharing session on how to identify stress and challenging situations that lead to homelessness including but not limited to monthly information sharing workshop training sessions creating awareness on mental health, drugs, and alcohol abuse. This program also connects Black seniors and young adults with recreational agencies that support their needs.

CCBN Food distribution to vulnerable seniors In Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge.

The Community Capacity Building Network (CCBN) is supported by the Government of Canada’s Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative and the Tropicana Community Services. This funding through the Tropicana Community Services will provide Community Capacity Building Network. Focused training of Board of Directors, Executive leadership, and volunteers to ensure organization operational effectiveness and efficiency.
